Boys Varsity Track, Girls Varsity Track · OMHS Track Setting Records at 7A State Meet

On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Oak Mountain’s very own did an incredible job representing OMHS.  Results are as follows:
  • Nicole Payne broke her own school record in the 100m Dash with a time of 11.74 seconds. Her time is ranked #1 across the state of Alabama. Nicole won the 100 (AL #1), 200 (AL #2, 7A #1), 400 (AL #1), and 4×400 relay (AL #2) this weekend.
  •  The girls 4x400m Relay team of Emarie McNair (8th grader), Evie Bell, Nicole Payne, and Halla Stallworth ran 3:57.08, which is the 2nd fastest 4×400 time in school history. These ladies are ranked #2 statewide.
  •  Grace Campbell jumped 17 feet 1/2 inch in Long Jump, making her the #2 long jumper in Oak Mountain History and placing her 1st in our 7A Section.
  •  In a field a very talented runners, Walker Cole finished 4th in the 3200m with a time of 9:32.28. That moves him to #4 in Oak Mountain history for that distance.
  •  Trey Allen cleared 6 feet 11 inches in High Jump, which set a new outdoor track school record. Trey won our 7A Section and is ranked #1 across Alabama, and #8 nationally.
  •  The 4x100m Relay team of JB Bennett, Glen Humphrey, Aaron Brooks, and Trey Allen finished 2nd with a time of 42.43 seconds. They are .27 seconds from breaking an 8 year old school record, and are currently ranked #3 in 7A.
  • Harrison Dimmick finished #1 in Discus and #2 in Shotput in the state.
