Oak Mountain Eagles Varsity Grabs Lead in Seventh Inning for Victory Over Vestavia Hills Lady Rebels

Oak Mountain Eagles Varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in an 11-10 victory over Vestavia Hills Lady Rebels on Monday. Oak Mountain Eagles Varsity was down 10-9 in the top of the seventh inning when Sarah Katona homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Dawn Autry led Oak Mountain Eagles Varsity to victory by driving in five runs. Autry went 3-for-5 at the plate. Autry drove in runs on a double in the fourth and a home run in the seventh.

Vestavia Hills Lady Rebels opened up scoring in the first inning. Gwynnie Hornibrook drove in one when Hornibrook doubled.
