An early lead helped Oak Mountain Eagles Varsity defeat Hueytown 13-4 on Saturday. Oak Mountain Eagles Varsity scored on a single by Ryan Reuse in the first inning and a single by Luke Percer in the second inning.
Oak Mountain Eagles Varsity pulled away for good with one run in the second inning. In the second Percer singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Oak Mountain Eagles Varsity put up seven runs in the third inning. Jackson Kimbrell, Drew Hill, and Caleb Ragland all drove in runs in the frame.
