Inaugural OM Athletic Hall of Fame Seeking Nominations Now

Thomas 7A Wrestling State Champion (132), Tipton State Champ Runner-Up (126)

Congratulations to OMHS Wrestler Cole Thomas and Sullivan Tipton for their powerful performances in the State Championship matches today! Cole Thomas earned the 7A STATE CHAMPION title in the 132 pound weight class! Sullivan Tipton placed 2nd in the 126 pound weight class in the 7A State Wrestling Tournament! OM Wrestling 4th in South Super Sectionals – 7 to State

Congrats to OM Wrestling for their 4th place in South Super Sectionals. Kirk Smitherman 106 lbs, Patrick Neal 120 lbs, Sullivan Tipton 126 lbs, Cole Thomas 132 lbs, Jacob Gagnon 160 lbs, Harrison Kinsey 172 lbs, Jacob Goldfon 195 lbs. will compete at STATE next weekend!!! #GOOM

Last weekend Oak Mountain High School Wrestling team finished 5th out of 17. Oak Mountain medal finishers Jacob Goldfon took 2nd  place in the 220 lb division. Leyton Bice took 3rd place in the 160 lb division. Carlos Harris won 1st place in the 152 lb division. Sullivan Tipton won 1st place in the 126

Here are your nominees for the Play of the Year! Voting will close on June 5! Wrestling 7A AHSAA State Duals Semi-Finals – Oak Mountain 45 – Thompson 25 Going into the semi-final as a decided underdog after falling to the Warriors in an area match 24-35 the Eagles were able to avenge their loss. 

Congrats to Blake Randle

Congrats to senior wrestler Blake Randle. Blake is the first winner in our Oak Mountain High School Athlete Performance of the Month for January. Currently, Blake’s record is 41-4. Throughout the season, he won the Southeastern Pools at Thompson HS. He was a finalist at US Army Indian Classic in Kingsport, Tennessee. Blake also qualified
